Located in the Chamonix Valley Argentiere ski resort is one of several smaller resorts that make up the Chamonix ski area. Argentiere is a small, quaint Alpine town many facilities and services, including, banks, a supermarket and a sports centre. There is a wide range of shops with ski-sporting outlets. It also has a good childcare day centre.Tourists outnumber the local population in the ski season and there is a good range of accommodation and beds available in both budget and luxury establishments. There is an ample choice of food, with 80 restaurants on offer, and après-ski/nightlife is lively and exciting, with 20 bars and three nightclubs.There are 30kms of prepared slopes at Argentiere ski resort, totalling 16 runs that are particularly suited to upper intermediate, advanced, and expert skiers and snowboarders. Eleven ski lifts, with both draglifts and chairlifts, operate over the ski area and have a capacity to lift thousands of people per hour.

Apres Ski
